Government Relations & Public Policy
Speaking on behalf of clinicians and patients nation-wide.
The Government Relations division is a strong voice for the cancer community within the public policy arena. Working at the national, state, and local levels, we help to protect the interests of patients and physicians and to promote public understanding of community-based oncology care.
We maintain two offices, one of which is in Washington, D.C., to focus on key legislative issues such as Medicare reimbursement, care quality reform, and patient access to care. The second office, located in The Woodlands, Texas is for state and local issues which vary in size and scope from state to state. We work together with patient advocacy groups to make sure patients are protected and that they are aware of their choices and rights.
