Ravi Shankar is board-certified in radiation oncology. Dr. Shankar was an assistant professor of radiation oncology genitourinary, gynecology oncology and sarcoma programs at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute in Tampa, Florida.

Rahul Chopra, MD

Dr. Chopra was raised in Daytona Beach, FL and attended both the University of Miami and the University of Florida for his undergraduate studies, eventually completing his Bachelor’s degree Cum Laude in Biomedical Sciences through the Accelerated Junior Honors Medical Program at the University of Florida. He received his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine, where he graduated with honors in research.

Dr. Chopra completed his internship in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA and his residency in radiation oncology at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. During residency, Dr. Chopra served as Chief Resident and presented his research at scientific meetings including the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). He has authored a number of a publications in peer-reviewed journals as well as a textbook chapter regarding the clinical effects of radiation therapy on normal tissue. He was also awarded the Howard H. Wong scholarship by the American College of Radiation Oncology to receive training in gynecologic radiation oncology and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Dr. Chopra has received extensive training during residency in three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy (3D-CRT), Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image-guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), SBRT and Gamma Knife Radiosurgery. Dr. Chopra is board-certified in radiation oncology.
