Anella Bayshtok, MD

Dr. Bayshtok is a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist. Prior to joining Brooklyn Radiation Oncology, Dr. Bayshtok served as Medical Director of Community Radiation Oncology also located in Brooklyn. Dr. Bayshtok has more than fifteen years of radiation oncology experience. Her areas of expertise include the treatment of breast, lung, prostate, colon, skin and gynecological cancers.

Dr. Bayshtok received her medical degree from the Medical School of LVOV, Ukraine, where she graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Bayshtok served her residency in radiation oncology at Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her fellowship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, where she was subsequently appointed Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology and was placed in charge of the breast cancer treatment program. Dr. Bayshtok is also a consulting Radiation Oncologist at Community Hospital/Cornell.

Dr. Bayshtok speaks Ukrainian, Russian and Polish.

Leslie Botnick, MD

Dr. Leslie Botnick is a board-certified Radiation Oncologist practicing at The Center for Radiation Therapy of Beverly Hills. He is also the Chief Medical Officer of McKesson Specialty Health. Dr. Botnick received a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Brooklyn College followed by a Medical Degree from New York Medical College. He interned at Metropolitan Hospital in New York before serving his residency at the Harvard Joint Center for Radiation Therapy in Boston. He later became Chief Resident at the Joint Center. He was Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. Dr. Botnick has written over 40 publications on Breast Cancer, Hodgkin’s, Head and Neck Cancer and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Repair.

Dr. Botnick is currently associated with several Health Systems throughout Los Angeles Orange and Riverside Counties in California, including the nationally renowned John Wayne Cancer Institute. Dr. Botnick is also listed in Who’s Who of Doctors in America and in Good Housekeeping magazine as a leading physician in the treatment of Breast Cancer. Dr. Botnick is a participant on the notably syndicated weekly radio show “The Group Room,” a show dedicated to the clinical and psychosocial support of cancer patients.

Areas of expertise include Breast, Prostate, Pancreatic and Rectal Cancer as well as Hodgkins and Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.

Walter Choi, MD

Dr. Choi is a Board-certified Radiation Oncologist. Previously,  he served as the Director of Stereotactic Radiosurgery and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy for Mount Sinai Health System at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and Mount Sinai West, as well as an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology. He is a highly regarded expert in the field of targeted radiotherapy, including stereotactic radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiotherapy, and brachytherapy, with a particular interest in the treatment of cancers of the lung, prostate, breast, gastrointestinal system, central nervous system, as well as tumors of the eye and orbit.

Dr. Choi received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn. After a medical internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, he returned to complete a residency in Radiation Oncology at SUNY Downstate, and subsequently completed fellowships in stereotactic radiosurgery and brachytherapy at Beth Israel/Roosevelt Hospital and Montefiore Medical Center.

Dr. Choi is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society for Radiation Oncology, the American Brachytherapy Society, the Korean American Society for Radiation Oncology, the New York Roentgen Society, the Connective Tissue Oncology Society, and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer.

Paul Gliedman, MD
Medical Director

Dr. Gliedman is the Medical Director of New York Treatment Centers and brings with him over two decades of experience as an attending physician at Mount Sinai Health System. Previously, he served as the Director of Radiation Oncology at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Brooklyn and as an attending physician at Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospitals in New York City.

Before joining Continuum Cancer Centers – Mount Sinai Health System, Dr. Gliedman was a director of radiation oncology at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Dr. Gliedman has extensive experience in managing cancer of the prostate, breast, lung, central nervous system, and gastrointestinal cancers. He has developed active cancer programs in prostate radioactive send implantation (Brachytherapy) and stereotactic radiosurgery.
