Steven C. Lane, MD
Dr. Lane graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with Honors and Distinction. While at UNC, he was selected for membership into Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his Medical Degree from the Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, NC, where he was twice honored with a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellowship. Dr. Lane completed his Internship in Internal Medicine at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill and his Residency in Radiation Oncology at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston. He was previously an attending physician at MGH, where he was also Instructor of Radiation Oncology at Harvard Medical School and Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at the Boston University School of Medicine.
Dr. Lane is a highly regarded board-certified radiation oncologist. He specializes in gynecological cancer, breast cancer, and prostate cancer in addition to general radiation oncology. He has extensive experience with Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) and High Dose Rate (HDR) brachytherapy. He is Chief of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital, and also serves as Chair of the Cancer Committee for the Signature Healthcare system.
Ahmed Chaudhary, MD
Dr. Chaudhary received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Tufts University in Boston, MA, graduating summa cum laude in 2004. He received his Medical Degree with Honors from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in Chicago, IL in 2010. While in medical school, he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed his Internship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY in 2010. He completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, IL in 2015, where he was Chief Resident.
Dr. Chaudhary received extensive training in the latest radiation therapy techniques including Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), and brachytherapy. He participated in clinical research at the Massachusetts General Hospital and the University of Chicago and is completing a Master’s Degree for Clinical Professionals. Dr. Chaudhary is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and is involved in clinical trials through the university, as well as National Cancer Institute (NCI) funded study groups such as NSABP, CALGB and RTOG. His areas of interest include prostate cancer, central nervous system malignancies, head and neck cancer, lung cancer, skin cancer, and general radiation oncology.
